The Sheep and the Horses

This is my first proper post, an translation into Proto-Greek of Schleicher's Fable about the Horses and the Sheep. Unfortunately, not all indoeuropean words have descendants in Greek, so instead of evolving them into a hypothetical yet possible Proto-Greek word, I decided to use other ones with the same meaning. Such words are marked with italic letters. Of invaluable help was the Comparative Grammar of Greek and Latin, Beeke's etymological dictionary and Frisk's etymological dictionary.

ówis, yṓi wlḗnos oyukí ḗhen, íkkʷons édәrke, tón gʷarún wókʰon wékʰontә, tón mégan pʰóron, tón ántʰrōkʷon ōκún pʰérontә. ówis íkkʷois éweikʷe: «kḗr moi ánkʰetai weídonti ántʰrōkʷon íkkʷons ágontә». íkkʷoi éweikʷon: «klútʰi ówi! tó skepťoménois әhmín ánkʰetai kḗr: ántʰrōkʷos, pótis, ówiyōn wlḗnos hoi kʷʰermón wéhmə kʷoiwéyei, ówisi wlḗnos oyukí estí.» tó kekluwṓs ówis agrón épʰugen.
